Fast Finishers

It is never too early to start thinking about 2010. But before you get too far ahead of yourself, it isn't a bad idea to look at how the '09 season ended. There were some players that turned heads late in the year, guys that should be on your fantasy radar for the coming season.

Guys that finish fast tend to start fast the following year. Below is a list of players that saw their fantasy value go up with the way they finished the season. These guys are going to be fantasy factors from day one in 2010.

Jerome Harrison, RB, Browns . Harrison finished the year with three straight 100-yard games, including a 286-yard performance in Week 15. Harrison had 33 or more carries in all three of those games, proving he can carry a full load. His amazing finish gives him the upperhand to start for the Browns heading into next season. He won't be given the job, but has obviously turned the heads of the Browns' brass. Consider him a No. 2 back for now.

Matt Moore, QB, Panthers . Moore started the last four games of the season and had eight touchdowns without a turnover during that stretch. He played at a very high level, completing 60 percent or more of his passes four of the last five games. He clearly outplayed Jake Delhomme, who had another poor showing this past season. There likely will be a competition for the quarterback spot next season, but Moore should be the favorite because of his strong finish and Delhomme's dismal season. [Full Story]

Lawyers: Respect Roethlisberger accuser's privacy

ATLANTA (AP) - Attorneys for the woman who accuses Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger of sexual assault said that she did the right thing by going to police and asked for privacy in a statement Tuesday.

Atlanta-based Attorneys Lee Parks and David Walbert said in the statement released to several media outlets that woman is assisting police. They said they were hired to advise the woman and her family while police investigate the allegations.

The 20-year-old told police that the two-time Super Bowl winner, who had been out barhopping with friends, assaulted her early Friday at a nightclub in Milledgeville, Ga. Roethlisberger has not been charged. [Full Story]
